On the first day, three writers meet to listen to songs. They choose six. Six hits, from the 1960s to the present day. A discussion ensues – a big, big discussion. There is no leader. They propose, refute, nuance, adopt. The three writers invent a story which they divide into six episodes. In the evening, they are knackered and go to bed early. On the second day, each writer has a few hours to write two of the six episodes. The rules of the game are that each text must end with the title of the next song from the six chosen. Finish your text with Billie Jean. Finish your script with La Macarena. It is usually at this point that the three authors ask themselves why they have agreed to take part in such a strange exercise.

On the day, the spectators are on the dance floor, under the disco ball, the authors are under the spotlight; they deliver this story written by six hands in record time for this unique Literary Ball. The spectator-dancers are invited to listen patiently to each text and then to dance wildly to each piece (not the other way around!). Welcome to the Boum!
